No próximo dias 10 e 11 de Junho, acontecerá uma das competições mais importantes do ano, o IARU HF Championship Contest, organizado pela IARU, International Amateur Radio Union. A competição começa às 12:00z (9h da manhã horário de Brasília) no sábado e termina às 11:59z do domingo.

Esta competição é interessante por vários motivos.  O formato de 24h e a troca simples de informação (enviamos apenas a nossa Zona ITU) são atrativos para quem não tem outros compromissos durante o fim de semana. Além disso, no IARU Contest também as estações HQ das sociedades-membro da IARU. A LABRE está presente operando em conjunto com o Araucária DX Group como ZW5HQ e enviará reportagem "RS(T) LABRE".

Apesar do novo ciclo ter começado oficialmente, ainda não vimos melhora substancial na propagação. No entanto, é menor se preparar para algum surpreza, especialmente na banda de 28MHz.
